Two of my most popular posts were the one that mentions a sex date in the title, and the one that mentions Lancaster’s red light district. So I figured that, now I know the level to aim for….

So, I have, like most artists and photographers, been tiring of Instagram now it has moved toward video. Anyone want to see videos of me dancing in skimpy outfits? Thought not. I have, therefore, been investigating Vero as an alternative and getting thoroughly confused by the reviews:

• The Android phone app is said to be slow and glitchy
• There are ethical issues with the background of it’s owner (not that Meta and IG are any better)
• One reviewer was concerned that the nudity filter is more lax than Instagram and that minors might see female nipples

So, this last one got me thinking ( and I was viciously assaulted by a tree whist thinking about this – I hope you are grateful). I am worried that anyone thinks that kids should not see nipples. Does this not prevent them being used for their actual biological function? I can only assume that mums these days blindfold their sprogs when feeding them? I am, therefore, guessing that censorship on Instagram is based on that skewed American sense of morality that is offended by the naked body but not by guns, knives and other destructive objects? I am confused.

This apparently happened in Oklahoma. I am therefore minded to rewrite the words of the Rodgers and Hammerstein song to incorporate this. If anyone else wants to have a go, here are the original words:
