I found this challenge by Brian at Bushboy’s World via Su at Zimmerbitch and thought it was cool so decided to contribute.
Unbelievably, the last photo on my camera is, for the 3rd month in a row, a cactus. Echinocereus subinermis. Yellow flowers are not usual in the genus (most are shades of red/purple, with a few that have small greenish flowers). And it is not too fearsomely spined either. The feature common to all Echinocereus is that green stigma.

The last photo on my phone was to illustrate a post on Instagram. Normally I would watch a movie with a glass of wine on a friday night but on this occasion I had stupidly spent time in the greenhouse on a roasting hot day and made myself quite sick – so was sticking to coffee!

Brian’s challenge rules:
- Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the last day of the month.
- No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
- You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
- Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
- Tag “The Last Photo”

Absolutely stunning photo and flower Darren. Great last photo 🙂 Green house and hot days are never a good idea especially when you loose track of time. Thanks for joining in

You know that coffee statement makes no sense. 🙂

Thank you Tracy. I know it should have been water but I was not sick enough to willingly drink anything without caffeine or alcohol in it😉

Have to draw the line somewhere, Darren. 🙂

Hello Chandra. Thank you for asking. I am OK. I just drifted away from blogging for a while but am starting to drift back in that direction I think. I do read posts by others but have not had much to write about recently. I hope you are doing Ok?
