Lovely gifts!

A little while ago I participated in a challenge set by Roda for the first birthday of her blog, Growing Self.

I was delighted that Roda’s family chose me as a recipient of one of packages of gifts. This arrived remarkably quickly and during a challenging week, making it all the more valuable.

Thank you again dear friend. Love and hugs!

A few weeks previously my friend Dominique also sent me a parcel. among other things this contained a rather nice pair of purple Calvin Klein socks. ( Dominique knows purple is my lucky colour). They are quite a good match for the bedroom carpet as you can see! Love and hugs to you too Dominique. πŸ’•

Now I have socks and a t-shirt – if someone can send me some trousers I can go out! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š

  1. Look at that little grin! Love it! I am glad the t-shirt fits! Watch what you wish for…you might receive floral trousers in the mail!πŸ˜‚

      1. I wear mine all of the time, too! I have many of them. They are lightweight and waterproof, which I love. I like that I can choose color combinations to symbolize different meanings for me. I have one that’s black and brown, which symbolizes Velvet’s life. I find strength in it.

  2. You deserve all these great gifts Darren. The books are awesome I heard and Growing Self’s logo t-shirt is very cool. I love the bracelet too and the purpose of it. I agree with Roda all is missing are floral trousers! You would be a stylish Arty Plantsman. xoxo

  3. The shirt and socks are wonderful and so is the bracelet. But the best thing is your Mona Lisa smile. For someone who describes himself as having a grumpy look all of the time you sure do look bemused. ❀️ πŸ˜‰
